FAQ
WHERE DO WE MEET?
We currently meet on Mondays at The Old Courts Art Centre in Wigan. Doors open at 5.30pm and start at 6.00pm
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Nothing, our group is free for everyone to attend. Wigan Autistic Theatre Company believes theatre should be inclusive and accessible to all.
WHAT IS YOUR AGE RANGE?
We are strictly a 18+ group.
We are an inclusive group and welcome everyone to a safe and friendly environment. Memebrs can come and audition and take part in acting and behind the scenes.
This includes roles such as set design, costume design, stage management and administration of the theatre group. If you are passionate about inclusion, and all things theatre related, and you feel that you could offer some support, then please get in touch.

DO YOU OFFER SUPPORT?
As a voluntary organisation, we go beyond rehearsals for the main cast of our shows. We support all those who attend sessions with theatrical activities. If anyone has one-to-one support outside of the group, we ask that you bring support staff or personal assistants to the sessions.
DO YOU OFFER WORK EXPERIENCE?
As a voluntary group, we don't have the ability to offer work placement. If you want to get involved please get in touch. We do offer a chance for university students who are doing case studies about theatre and autism, or other things relevent to the organisation. If you are such a student and are interested please get in touch.
